Manortown Utd have kicked off their O35 season with a friendly match tonight against an experienced Larkview team.

The lads went ahead in the first half & held onto a 1-0 lead until midway through the second half when the more experienced Larkview team clawed their way back into the game to equalise.

The lads battled gamely but Larkview grabbed another goal & finished the game 2-1 winners.

Well done to Steven Moles our U10 manager for persevering in arranging this team formation - most of the lads have played schoolboy football in Manortown & it’s great to see that the hunger to pull on a jersey still exists.
